ARCHITECTURE AS A QUIET PRESENCE
This multibrand fashion concept store in Barcelona was conceived as a inhabited sculpture.
Working alongside @statuscontract , I approached the project by allowing architecture to act as a silent framework rather than a statement.
Classical proportions, columns and decorative details coexist with contemporary elements in metal, glass and refined finishes. The dialogue between past and present is deliberate yet restrained: history becomes a functional tool, never a decorative shortcut.
Natural light plays a central role, shaping volumes and revealing textures with calm precision.
The layout is fluid, designed to slow the pace, encourage exploration and leave room for the garments to breathe. Furniture works as architectural punctuation, guiding movement without imposing it.
I believe interior design reaches its best expression when it supports experience rather than dominating it. Here, balance replaces excess, and materiality becomes a form of language.
The project speaks through relationships: between light and matter, architecture and function, heritage and contemporary retail design.

At the closing days of @maisonetobjet , we’re proud to present the Ginkgo coffee tables, a limited-edition capsule born within Radici — a collection that explores material, memory, and transformation.
Inspired by the ginkgo leaf, a timeless symbol of resilience and continuity, these tables translate nature into matter: brass surfaces shaped by hand, tactile textures that catch the light, and proportions designed to invite intimacy rather than spectacle.
Presented in Paris over the past days, the collection has been met with an enthusiastic and thoughtful response. We are deeply grateful to all the visitors, architects, designers, and collectors who stopped by, shared impressions, and engaged in dialogue. That exchange is where design truly comes alive.
This capsule is part of Radici, developed in collaboration with @barone_italia , where craftsmanship, experimentation, and a contemporary vision of Italian savoir-faire converge.
Thank you for making this presentation such a meaningful moment.

RADICI — AT MAISON&OBJET
Today the doors of Maison&Objet open, and with them a new chapter for Radici, the collection I designed in collaboration with @barone_italia
Radici was born from a simple, almost physical question: how can matter remember?
Metal becomes surface, surface becomes gesture. Each piece carries traces of time, craftsmanship, and intention—objects conceived not to decorate a space, but to give it depth and identity.
At @maisonetobjet the collection takes shape within a setting that reflects our shared vision: essential, tactile, quietly expressive. A dialogue between material culture and contemporary design, where brass and metal are treated as living elements, capable of evolving and aging with grace.
If you’re in Paris these days, I invite you to experience Radici in person.

ARCHITECTURE, MEMORY, MATTER
For this restaurant in Paris, developed in collaboration with @barone_italia the project moves along a delicate line between preservation and transformation.
Historic rooms, rich in stuccoes and proportions, become the setting for a contemporary narrative made of metal, light and rhythm.
The intervention doesn’t seek contrast for its own sake. Instead, it works by resonance: brushed and iridescent metal surfaces echo the ornament, softening it; sculptural furnishings introduce a new tempo without overpowering the space.
Architecture here becomes a quiet dialogue between past and present, where design is not an object, but an atmosphere to be inhabited.
This approach — halfway between interior design and installation — reflects our shared vision with Barone Italia: crafting spaces where materials speak, age with dignity, and acquire meaning over time.

This project started from a simple, personal question: how can contemporary design enter a historic space without either fading into it or overwhelming it?
The answer emerged through movement, reflection, and material clarity. Curved metal surfaces define a fluid spatial sequence, guiding perception rather than imposing it. Light glides across steel, softening its industrial character and turning it into a responsive, almost tactile presence.
Developed with @barone_italia and @statuscontract for the bespoke furnishings and installation, metal becomes more than a material choice. It acts as a bridge between eras—precise and contemporary, yet capable of resonating with frescoes, stuccoes, and the layered memory of the building.
This space was not conceived as a backdrop, but as a counterpart. Architecture here slows the body, invites attention, and turns movement into part of the experience. Design steps back from decoration and moves closer to atmosphere.
An interior defined by restraint and intention, where past and present remain in dialogue—never resolved, but carefully balanced.

THE ALCHEMY OF MOUNTAIN LIGHT
Designing this chalet in Saint Moritz has been a rare opportunity to let landscape, craftsmanship, and materiality merge into a single narrative. Together with @barone_italia , I shaped a project where every element speaks to the soul of the mountains—echoing a reinterpreted thought by Louis Kahn: “Materials speak, if we choose to listen.”
Here, brass, stone, and hand-worked metal surfaces become living, changing presences. Light transforms them throughout the day, proving once again—echoing Scarpa—that light is the true designer.
My aim was to create a home that feels both intimate and sculptural, where contemporary design amplifies the essence of the place rather than overshadowing it. A sanctuary where textures, reflections, and craftsmanship connect the interior to the alpine landscape with quiet intensity.
Working at this level of detail with Barone Italia allowed every surface to become a statement, every room a moment of atmosphere.
A chalet, yes—
but above all, an experience shaped by light, matter, and emotion.

A HISTORIC RESIDENCE IN THE LANGHE — WHERE HERITAGE AND MATTER CONVERSE
Stepping into this residence in the heart of the Langhe felt like crossing an invisible threshold — the point where architecture stops being static and becomes a living dialogue.
Designing within a historic palace carries a unique responsibility: you’re not simply adding contemporary elements, you’re negotiating with memory. Every intervention must acknowledge what came before, while opening space for what can emerge.
In each room, my goal was to cultivate this balance — not contrast, but conversation.
The frescoed ceilings, the original terrazzo floors, the ornate wall details: none of these became mere backdrop. They became partners, guiding the rhythm and the material vocabulary of the project.
The brass surfaces, the sculptural kitchen volumes, the soft contemporary furnishings were conceived as responses — reflections of a beauty that already existed in these walls.
I often think of Carlo Scarpa’s words: “Between the new and the old, there must be no rupture, only a mutual bow.”
Here, I wanted to shape exactly that bow — an encounter where history is not interrupted, but illuminated.
It’s the kind of project that reminds me why I do this work: because when interior design enters into dialogue with the life of a building, something deeper takes shape — something that transcends time.

MUNICH AT GOLDEN HOUR
Designing this bar–restaurant in Munich with @statuscontract has been an exercise in balance: between rigor and atmosphere, reflection and materiality, light and structure.
Every time I step inside, I’m reminded of how architecture can shape the way we experience a city—even before we taste a dish or hear a voice.
The project was born around a simple idea: let light do the storytelling.
Brass, stone, glass, and mirrored surfaces become lenses, translating Munich’s sky—often crisp, sometimes metallic—into warm gradients and soft reflections. Especially at sunset, when the architecture outside glows and the interiors respond like a silent orchestra of surfaces.
The dining area shifts to a more intimate rhythm, wrapped in bronze panels and mirrored planes that expand the space, blurring the threshold between material and reflection—because in hospitality, perception is as important as proportion.
Every detail was crafted with the precision and mastery of Status Contract, turning complexity into effortlessness.
Munich gave us its architecture, its sky, its pace.
We responded with a space that celebrates all three.

VENICE REIMAGINED
In Venice, every surface carries a memory — of time, of reflection, of light upon water.
This project, was born from a desire to honor that memory while giving it a new language — one made of metal, proportion, and silence.
The space unfolds as a dialogue between history and material clarity: frescoed ceilings meet brushed brass, ancient terrazzo floors reflect the gleam of contemporary geometries. Here, the patina of time doesn’t compete with modernity — it embraces it.
I have always believed, as Carlo Scarpa once said, that “materials have their own language — the architect’s role is to make them speak softly.”
Every surface in this Venetian residence does exactly that: the brass doors, the mirrored reflections, the warmth of natural light sliding across sculptural furniture — all become a slow choreography of perception.

LIGHT, TEXTURE AND SILENCE
In the heart of Montpellier, this boutique unfolds as an encounter between architecture, sculpture, and light — a space where every reflection becomes part of the narrative.
The design, developed in collaboration with @statuscontract , seeks equilibrium between austerity and emotion. Rough, textured walls converse with polished steel volumes, creating a dialogue between time and material. The atmosphere is one of suspended elegance: soft velvet seating in deep plum tones contrasts the luminous precision of brushed brass and mirrored stainless steel.

GOLDEN SILENCE IN SEVILLE
In the heart of Andalusia, I imagined a space where matter itself could breathe — where brass becomes light, and walls whisper the poetry of time.
This villa in Seville, created in collaboration with @barone_italia , is a dialogue between the sacred and the sensual: the patina of oxidized metal meets the faded frescoes of ancient walls, tracing a new language of intimacy and reflection.
Each piece, from the sculpted cabinetry to the seamless brass kitchen, was designed to resonate with the architecture rather than dominate it. The material speaks softly, its reflections shifting with the sun that pours through arched windows, weaving an ever-changing narrative of light and shadow.
Design here is not decoration — it is emotion solidified. Every surface carries a memory, every proportion an echo of balance. The result is an interior that feels both timeless and profoundly human, where silence itself becomes the ultimate form of luxury.

A SANCTUARY FOR CONTEMPORARY TALENTS
Walking through @theartsclubdubai , one senses an ambition to transcend the role of a mere gathering place—it aspires to become a living canvas. Spread across four floors in the DIFC, the Club is a masterstroke of design.
Here, every room is an invitation to linger. I was struck by the layering of materials—tactile leathers, inlaid marble, hand-painted wallpapers—and the bold yet disciplined use of saturated colour that both surprises and soothes.
The staircases feel like dramatic arteries: in champagne steel, wrapped in a soft carpet, they carry you through discrete ambiances. Each floor yields its own identity—a brasserie with geometric marble, a Latin restaurant with cathedral-scale glass, more intimate salons framed by deep wood and lush textiles.
Art is never incidental. The Club curates rotating exhibitions across its stairwells and lounge walls, positioning itself not just as host but as patron. In fact, recent shows by Sarah Al Mehairi and Mandy El-Sayegh turn circulation spaces into curated journeys between colour, form, memory, and narrative.

WHISPERS OF TUSCANY
Some places do not simply exist — they resonate. In the Tuscan light, filtered through ancient arches and softened by time, a dialogue unfolds between memory and invention.
This hotel was conceived as a stage where art, architecture, and design converse in hushed tones. Bronze surfaces shimmer like liquid dusk, marble veins recall landscapes sketched by nature, and statues stand as companions to contemporary forms.
The collaboration with @barone_italia reveals interiors that are both sanctuary and gallery, where stillness carries the weight of centuries, and every object seems touched by a quiet poetry.

A TRIBUTE TO TIMELESS ELEGANCE
Designing an interior in the heart of Venice means confronting layers of history that cannot be ignored. For this project, I chose to let the Gothic arches and worn Venetian walls speak, while introducing a new architectural language through brass, marble, and reflections of light.
The space unfolds with monumental staircases in Carrara marble, softened by the patina of aged surfaces and enriched with sculptural accents.
Brass volumes catch the glow of the lagoon, while mirrored planes expand perspectives and dissolve boundaries between past and present.
Every element — from the geometry of the furniture to the placement of statues and organic compositions — was conceived to build a dialogue between heritage and contemporaneity.
This project is a meditation on style, discipline, and legacy. A way of honoring a certain idea of refined elegance — one that continues to inspire, even in absence.
